**Hydrocarbon Extraction Technician**

Adastra Labs Inc. (“Adastra Labs”), a subsidiary of Adastra Holdings Ltd. (CSE: XTRX), holds a Health Canada Standard Processing License and sales (extracts, edibles, and topicals) under the _Cannabis Regulations_. Adastra Labs produces refined cannabis extracts, distillates, concentrates, and cannabis formulations, along with white label product manufacturing. Adastra Labs operates under GMP standards and in accordance with Health Canada Good Production Practices (GPP), as defined in the _Cannabis Regulations_.

Reporting to the Lead Hand or designate, the Hydrocarbon Extraction Technician is responsible for safely and efficiently performing hydrocarbon extractions, meeting quality levels and following SOPs.

**Major Responsibilities**
- Perform extractions using hydrocarbon (butane & propane)
- Perform post-processing and clean-up of extracts
- Perform basic troubleshooting on extraction instrumentation and other equipment
- Meet timelines and quality expectations
- Perform basic calculations
- Work with the QA team to assess the quality of extractions
- Document output and wastes
- Maintain organized documentation of data and batch production records
- Train production employees on Hydrocarbon
- Assist other departments as necessary

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of two years of experience in various extraction methods preferred
- Fire safety and hazardous material safety knowledge
- Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs
- Diligent record-keeping
- Ability to perform tedious tasks
- Basic computer skills including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to perform basic calculations and assess mathematical-based data
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels within the organization
- Must be 19 years of age or older

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
