Summary
The Warehouse Operations Manager will oversee the coordination and operations of Lantic’s national warehousing network, working closely with internal teams and external warehouse partners to ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective operations. This position requires a proactive leader who can manage warehousing processes, quality standards, and financial oversight, while maintaining alignment across Lantic’s refineries, manufacturing sites, and distribution centers across Canada.
**We are looking for someone who will**:

- Coordinate with all internal and external warehouses across Canada to ensure smooth, seamless operations for the movement of packaging materials and finished goods.
- Improve the usage of the network of warehouses used by Lantic. This includes executing efficiency and cost improvements Nationally to achieve a more efficient and cost effective Supply Chain.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with refineries, manufacturing sites, and distribution centers to ensure operational alignment.
- Review and vet invoices and payments to external warehouse partners to ensure accuracy and contractual compliance.
- Conduct quarterly inventory reconciliations with all external warehouses, ensuring inventory levels are accurate and addressing any major discrepancies with action plans.
- Lead budgeting and quarterly forecasting efforts for national warehousing costs.
- Collaborate with the quality team to support periodic quality audits for all external warehouses, ensuring adherence to Lantic’s quality standards.
- Develop and implement corrective measures and standard operating procedures to maintain high-quality storage practices.
- Create and manage a vendor scorecard to assess and validate performance and quality standards across external warehouses.
- Ensure that external warehouses clearly understand and comply with all requirements for packaging materials and finished goods storage, as well as all internal policies and contractual obligations.
- Provide ongoing training and regular communication to external warehouse teams to reinforce adherence to Lantic’s standards.
- Track, follow up on, and resolve claims related to external warehousing, ensuring timely action and resolution.
- Communicate major inventory discrepancies, reporting issues and implementing corrective action plans.
- Work closely with the dispatch team to manage the movement in and out of all distribution centers, ensuring smooth operations and clear communication for all distribution-related activities.

**What you'll need to join the team**:

- Proven experience in warehouse or supply chain management, ideally in a national or multi-location capacity.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously.
- Financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and invoice reconciliation.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to work with large databases.
- Excellent communication skills, with a proven track record of building effective working relationships across levels and functions.
- Languages: English spoken and written, French spoken and written.
- Independent including ability to work with little supervision over direct tasks.
- Open to travel nationally periodically
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality and operational efficiency.
