**Introduction**

The **Days Inn by Wyndham Thunder Bay North **is currently recruiting for Laundry Attendant(s). Room Attendants are responsible for the Gathering and folding laundry in keeping with hotel standards. Duties include ensuring maximum standards of cleanliness of all laundry, in a timely and efficient manner and when necessary assisting in cleaning the public areas. Laundry Room Attendants provide friendly service help to create an exceptional guest experience that drives guest loyalty.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

**_Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, the Room Attendant will: _**
- Ensure guests are treated as a guest in our own home.
- Achieving cleanliness standards as communicated by the Housekeeping Manager.
- Completing you all duties in the time frame.
- Adhering to any requirement as identified by the Housekeeping Manager.
- Assist all guests in a sincere courteous manner, whenever possible going the extra mile and doing whatever it takes to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Attend and participate in all staff meetings
- Cooperate with all supporting departments to ensure a seamless experience for our guests, ensuring our vision of passionate people creating exceptional experiences is at the forefront of every interaction;
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager.

**Job Requirements**
- Hotel housekeeping work or other related work experience will be an asset.
- Have strong people skills
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task
- Wears a uniform and able to represent a defined and high grooming standard.
- proven time management skills and ability to work under pressure;
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- **Available to work days, evenings, weekends and/or holidays as required,**
- Moderate to high level of physical effort.
- Moderate level of mental effort.
- High level of sensory attention: sight and hearing.
- Manual dexterity required to use cleaning equipment.
- Overtime as required.
