Long Harbour, Canada Integrated Logistics Full time

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, on both day and night shifts, 7 days on 7 days off, employees are expected to move between equipment pieces plus other tasks, including labour work to complete full assignments.

**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Operate Class 01 & 03 equipment, transport vehicles, and snow clearing machinery, such as the Snow Blade with Wing and Salter/Sander, to support site services.
- Perform pre
- and post-trip inspections on vehicles, reporting maintenance or safety issues promptly, and maintain accurate records, including mileage and fuel consumption, while adhering to all safety and compliance standards, including hazardous materials regulations.
- Ensure proper cargo handling, securement, and compliance with weight limits throughout the transportation process.
- Perform labor tasks involving the handling of mineral concentrates and chemical reagents, necessitating full-face respirator use and full body sealed Tyvek suits.
- Maintain a clean-shaven appearance and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators for extended periods (up to 10-12 hours) when working in conditions with dust, particulates, vapors, fumes, or mist.
- Participate in Integrated Logistics flow to work program which sees workers move between tasks, equipment pieces and labour assignments throughout the shift and their career.

**TYPICAL WORK TASKS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING**:

- Snow clearing and road maintenance - with hand tools or equipment as required
- Receiving goods form trucks, ships and other transport mediums
- Transport of personnel and light mail across sites
- Cargo handling in bulk and packaged forms
- Install and use of pumps in storm ways, removal of debris and wastes for critical areas
- Assist the operations and other activities as requested by our clients
- All tasks in adherence to the HSEQ policies
- Other duties as required

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**
- Class 01 commercial driver's license with a minimum of Five years previous experience as a Class 01 Transport Driver or similar role
- Experience in operation, and use of pumps for Fuel & Water Trucks (preferred)
- Ability to embrace, scope of work, flow to work and safe work practices, while participating in a respective work environment
