About the Role:
Position: Full-time Law Clerk (35-40 hours per week)
Location: North York and Richmond Hill, ON.
Languages: Fluency in spoken and written Russian is a strong asset.
Start Date: Immediate.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clerking and administrative support to two different lawyers, each with distinct caseloads
Assist with drafting, filing, and organizing court documents for family law, real estate law, and business law cases
Prepare and review legal forms and documents, ensuring compliance with court procedures
Manage client communications and sensitive financial information
Assist with legal research, case summaries, and document management
Coordinate between the two offices and ensure that all deadlines and tasks are met efficiently
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and attention to detail
**Requirements**:
5-10 years of experience as a law clerk, with specific expertise in family law, real estate law, business law, and creditor’s rights
Experience with court procedures, forms, and filings
Strong ability to manage multiple priorities for different lawyers simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
Must be able to come into the office daily (North York and occasional Richmond Hill office)
Proficiency in spoken and written Russian is a significant asset
Comfortable working with personal financial information and handling sensitive client matters
What We Offer:
Competitive salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year, based on experience
Full-time hours (35-40 hours per week)
A supportive and collaborative work environment with two experienced lawyers
