Estimator/Project Coordinator at Building Restoration Company

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct a thorough review of drawings and specifications.
- Attend pre-bid site visits. Tender closing
- Perform basic quantity take-offs and prepare technical documentation for tender submissions
- Obtains pricing from trades and suppliers and incorporates it into an estimate
- Coordinate the work of subcontractors involved in the project.
- Create a construction schedule using MS Project.
- Manage the administration of construction contracts and ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained.
- Order, receive, and track field purchases and materials.
- Prepare the project budget and monitor the percentage of work completed for invoicing.
- Organize all documents related to project expenses, including labor hours for accounting purposes.
- Review subcontractor invoices for accuracy prior to Project Manager approval.
- Perform additional administrative tasks related to project accounts receivable and payable.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of three year of experience as a Estimator in the construction industry.
- Successful completion of an Engineering or Construction Estimator diploma, university degree or equivalent.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve maximum efficiency.
- Proficient in reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take decisive action within the limits of authority.
- Proactive approach to Health and Safety.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong listening abilities, good organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
- Valid driver's license

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
