**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for use.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Schedule appointments and manage the front desk duties when necessary, including handling patient inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations within the office.
- Assist in inventory management by ordering supplies as needed.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and knowledge of dental terminology.
- Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix or Epic is preferred.
- Experience in pediatrics or orthodontics is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate patient records.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist is beneficial but not required.
