**Lake Bonavista Homeowner’s Association Ltd.** is a non-profit organization managed by staff and led by a volunteer Board of Directors, who maintain and operate the lake recreation facility encompassing over 75 acres serving 3216 homes with over 11,000 members.

The lake itself is 52 acres and the park is 26, making Lake Bonavista one of the largest man-made lakes in Calgary. The lake and community reside in Treaty 7, the traditional and ancestral territory of the Blackfoot Confederacy: Kainai, Piikani, and Siksika as well as the Tsuut’ina Nation, Stoney Nakoda First Nation, and the Metis Nation (Region 3).

Lake Bonavista has all-year round access for its residents to partake in a variety of indoor and outdoor recreational activities, such as swimming, fishing, tennis, pickleball and canoeing in the summer, or skating and cross-country skiing in the winter. The facilities are also host to several seasonal and recurring events and gatherings for the community.
**Summary**

We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at Lake Bonavista. This role, based in Calgary, is crucial for ensuring the upkeep of our extensive recreational facilities, contributing to the overall satisfaction of our community members.
**Responsibilities**
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment.
- Mow/trim grass and other landscape duties.
- Clean washrooms and general open spaces.
- Use equipment to maintain ice surfaces including a Zamboni.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to address maintenance issues promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and visitors.
- Support special events by preparing facilities as needed.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and electrical experience.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
