**

The Folder-Gluer Operator is responsible for the start-up, operation, adjustment, and basic maintenance of the Folder-Gluer with the aim of producing folding cartons that comply with the company’s technical specifications, quality standards, and productivity requirements. He works closely with the operator’s assistants and the production team to ensure optimal performance of the machine.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Prepare, adjust and operate the folder-gluer according to the specifications of the work order and the established standards;
- Carry out the editing, mechanical adjustments and format changes required for each production;
- Read and interpret the customer’s bending plans, sketches and technical specifications;
- Ensure that folding cartons are well folded, glued and compliant in terms of quality and dimensions;
- Carry out quality controls throughout production (e.g.: gluing, folding, alignment, cleanliness, compliance);
- Ensure the proper functioning of the machine during production and carry out basic maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, mechanical checks);
- Complete production reports and report any anomalies to the supervisor;
- Strictly comply with occupational health and safety standards, as well as internal procedures;
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Any other related tasks.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Relevant experience as a folder-gluer operator (e.g., Signature, Bobst, Jagenberg, Vega, etc.) in the printing or folding carton industry;
- Knowledge of the different folding and gluing configurations (single, double, crash-lock, 4/6 corners, etc.);
- Good understanding of quality standards and folding carton manufacturing process;
- Ability to make precise mechanical adjustments;
- Ability to work in a team, sense of responsibility and attention to detail;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines;
- Availability to work different shifts (day, evening, night) if required.
- Ability to work standing for long periods of time.
