We use a unique blood test and machine learning to identify early warning signs of chronic diseases and give users simple but targeted recommendations to avert disease progression.

We are looking for a junior data analyst to help us uncover insights from our biological data and help us design and run machine learning experiments to develop new models that can predict disease.

As a Junior Data Analyst, you will:

- Collaborate with scientists to perform data analysis and experimentation on datasets acquired from databases and data warehouses
- Use tools to transform data and visualize under the direction of the Data Science team
- Work with our Data Science team to lay the foundation for AI & ML model building, release, management and visualization
- Work cross-functionally with Data Science, Engineering, Operations and Product teams

Qualifications:

- A graduate degree (PhD or MSc) in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, or a related field preferred
- Experience in the Life Sciences, Systems Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Cell Biology, Epidemiology, or Molecular Biology preferred
- A solid foundation in statistical analysis and data cleaning/transformation
- Excellent programming skills (Python and SQL required)
- Experience working with high-throughput multi-omics biological data (eg. genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, etc)
- Experience with multi-omic data integration and/or metabolic modeling/engineering is an asset
- Excellent skills in data visualization and presentation of key findings
- Driven to learn and master new techniques
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills, with impeccable attention to detail
- An understanding of basic machine learning would be desired
- Experience with big-data technologies like Big Query/Snowflake/Redshift, Kafka, Airflow/other is an asset
