Budtender:

- Greet customers entering the retail store ensuring that no one under the age of 19 enters.
- Engaging with customers on daily basis, understanding their needs and responding to inquiries.
- Processing transactions and customer orders.
- Abide by all company and provincial regulations and requirements for the sale of cannabis and associated products.
- Complete tasks as assigned by the General Manager.
- Assemble customer orders for pickup and delivery.

General duties:

- Assist with general cleaning ie wiping down counters/displays, sweeping and mopping, cleaning the bathroom, cleaning inventory room.
- Assist with other duties as business needs require.

Additional Requirements:

- Applicants must be 19+ years of age (mandatory).
- Criminal background check (mandatory).
- CanSell Certification required (mandatory).
- Trustworthy-handling cash and managing sales for customers of cannabis products and accessories.
- Must be available during our store hours and can be relied upon to attend all shifts scheduled (between 9:30 am to 7:00 pm, Monday to Sunday).
- Positive and outgoing personality to create a positive and welcoming experience for customers.
- You have knowledge of cannabis and cannabis accessories, can advise customers on responsible cannabis use, methods of use, and understand federal and provincial cannabis regulations.
- Personal connection to the community is an asset.

Preference will be given to those who currently hold CannSell Certification or willing to obtain prior to first day of work.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: From $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- retail sales: 2 years (preferred)
- customer service: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CannSell Certificate (preferred)
