**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring a smooth operation within the veterinary practice. Your passion for animals and ability to communicate effectively will help create a welcoming environment for both clients and their pets.

**Duties**
- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
- Process patient records accurately, including maintaining up-to-date information in the database.
- Assist with laboratory tasks as needed, including sample collection and preparation.
- Handle billing inquiries and process payments in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room.
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a veterinary or medical office setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact compassionately with clients and their pets.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures is a plus.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A genuine love for animals and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications related to veterinary assistance are advantageous.

Pay: $16.55-$21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
