**LEAD RIGGER**
- Overview:

- Lead Riggers are responsible for overseeing at least one production as well as efficiently working with other Rigging Leads and Supervisors to ensure all shows are running smoothly.
- Lead Riggers are expected to have proven their technical and production knowledge and be able to effectively lead and motivate a team.
- Responsibilities:

- Delegate all tasks & notes to the Rigging team while understanding their strengths & weaknesses
- Responsible for Technical Oversight of the show
- Train and help other riggers on the show with any technical questions or issues
- Write and maintain scripts and related documentation for the department and the show
- Find common rigging issues with tools and workflows and bring them up in leads’ meetings
- Submit technical revisions at the modelling stage
- Submit honest and accurate performance reviews
- Qualifications:

- Have at least 3 year of related experience
- Impeccable communication skills
- Being calm and strong under pressure
- Proficient in Maya
- Proficient in Python
- Strong knowledge and experience with dynamic systems, eg: nCloth and nHair
- Proficient in GIT

**SENIOR RIGGER**
- Overview:

- Senior Riggers are strong rigging artists that can tackle an array of difficult rigging tasks.
- Responsibilities:

- Tackle the hardest rig tasks on the show
- Help Mid and Junior riggers with technical issues
- Write and maintain scripts for the department and show
- Able to work by themselves on difficult tasks with little to no supervision.
- Qualifications:

- Have at least 2 years of related experience
- Strong knowledge of Maya
- Python knowledge is a must
- Proficient in nCloth and nHair
- GIT power user
- Experience delivering tasks under deadlines
- Experience in an animation production environment

**INTERMEDIATE RIGGER**
- Overview:

- Mid level Rigging artists have a full grasp and ability to do everything expected from a Junior Rigger to a higher quality and at a faster speed.
- Responsibilities:

- Able to rig a variety of characters, props, vehicles with mínimal input
- Work with Senior Riggers to learn and grow
- Learn & expand coding abilities to start to assist the department with development and technical challenges
- Stay in constant communication with the Lead Rigger
- Assist Junior Riggers with simple questions
- Take direction easily
- Qualifications:

- Have at least 1 year of related experience
- Strong knowledge of Maya
- Descent Python knowledge is required
- Basic nCloth and nHair knowledge is required
- Knowledge of GIT a plus
- Experience delivering tasks under deadlines

**JUNIOR RIGGER**
- Overview:

- Junior Riggers are responsible for building the rigs assigned to them by their Lead.
- Responsibilities:

- Create prop, vehicle and character rigs to meet production requirements
- Learn and use in-house rigging tools efficiently to create different types of rigs
- Expected to learn and grow from all fellow rigging artists
- Take direction easily
- Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge of Maya
- Python experience a plus
