As a Freight Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods through our supply chain. You will ensure that shipments are handled efficiently and comply with all relevant regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and monitor the movement of freight from origin to destination.
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs documentation.
- Track and report shipment status, resolving any issues that arise during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and warehousing activities.
- Collaborate with the warehousing team to ensure proper storage and handling of goods.
- Ensure compliance with import and export regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; a four year college degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in freight coordination, shipping, and warehousing.
- Knowledge of general shipping and warehousing terms.
- Familiarity with import and export operations and regulations.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- 2 + years experience in freight industry
