Reporting to the General Manager, the Marketing Manager will lead the development, implementation and execution of a marketing strategy to strengthen our company brands and ensure our mission, vision and values are clearly communicated to our customers, partners and employees.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop a marketing plan to advance brand identity for all lines of business and to broaden the visibility of our products and services.
- Work with the leadership team and colleagues to build and execute innovative marketing strategies that will build brand awareness and drive sales across all business lines.
- Develop and deliver appropriate messages and communications strategies for identified challenges and emerging issues both internally and externally.
- Oversee the marketing and communications budget, evaluating cost effectiveness of all activities.
- Provide ongoing evaluation of marketing metrics, ensuring efforts are adapted to results.
- Review and approve all marketing materials to ensure a consistent approach is used appropriately with target audiences both internally and externally.
- Identify and manage vendor relationships to ensure marketing communications efforts are supported and met.
- Provide leadership to internal marketing resources, third party agencies and operational teams by establishing a service, results and data-driven approach to delivering activities.
- Keep up to date with marketing, digital and media trends to inspire creative and alternative solutions for the team.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
- Post secondary education in Marketing or marketing related field.
- Previous leadership experience.
- Graphic Design background an asset
- Previous experience creating and executing a marketing and branding strategy.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- A confident self-starter, able to form effective relationships with all business lines.
- A positive and flexible team player who is willing to contribute to marketing overall team and business objectives.
- Understanding of the full range of MS Office suite including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Able to deal with a range of competing priorities in a calm, efficient and professional manner, with a keen eye for detail.
- Confident in dealing with a range of contacts at all levels.
- Organized and efficient in work and time management.
