**Job description**

Maintaining cleanliness of all public areas inside & outside of the Hotel. Duties Include:

- Having a positive attitude, friendly manner and good, clear communication skills with guests and staff
- Having the ability to work efficiently on your own
- Clean and check towels in swimming pool & change rooms & exercise room, guest laundry room daily
- Check linen chute and remove cart when full daily
- Clean public washrooms by restaurant daily
- Clean staff washrooms daily
- Polish elevator daily
- Vacuum public areas, guest floor hallways and lobby
- Dust furniture, chair rails, counters in lobby
- Empty garbage in offices & vacuum
- Receive and deliver linen to all floors, daily
- Clean windows in pool and lobby areas
- removing all garbage/ recycling from all guest floors, offices and housekeeping areas
- Perform COVID 19 sanitizing procedures are per policy
- Assist and comply with guest and or management requests in timely manner
- Advise Supervisor of any safety concerns that require immediate attention.

**Qualifications**:

- previous houseman experience an asset
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- highly responsible and reliable
- ability to work as part of a team with minimum supervision
- ability to focus attention on guest needs

**Physical Aspects of position (include but are not limited to)**:

- constant standing and walking throughout shift
- ability to push up to 100 lbs

**Schedule**:

- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Evening shift
- Weekends
- Weekdays

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00 - $20.80 per hour
