**_Catholic Social Services is currently recruiting for a full-time (40 hours/week) Residential Service Coordinator in Red Deer. _**
**Job Summary**:
The rewards are as plentiful as the challenges for a Service Coordinator in our Children's Ministry. As a coach and mentor to a dedicated team of Child and Youth Care Workers in a residential program, you set the example of high quality, client-focused care. Working with children and youth with complex needs, you will develop solid working relationships with guardians, staff, Agency leadership and community stakeholders. Your attention to detail shows in your strong program planning and communication style, which ensures that the team is providing the best care possible while maintaining a high standard of administrative excellence. Over your career, you have developed expertise in behavioral supports, crisis response, medical and/or personal care.
**Education and Qualifications**:
- A Diploma/Degree in Child & Youth Care (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working with individuals with emotional and behavioral needs
- Experience supporting individuals with complex and high behaviours
- Supervisory experience is considered an asset
- Valid First Aid and CPR
- Vulnerable Sector Record Check from local RCMP or city police
- Child Intervention Record Check
- Current driver's abstract
- A vehicle and valid class 5 driver's license - requirement to transport clients in your personal vehicle
- Proof of vehicle insurance showing $2 million liability coverage

- The compensation for this position ranges from **$22.52 - $25.34** per hour and is based on qualifications and experience.
