Auto Parts Specialist

**Job Overview**
**Here's an overview of what your day at FineLine Tube Products, Inc. would look like**:
- Updating Customer Service database during and after each customer interaction
- Creating invoices, posting payments, and preparing spreadsheets
- Working on company reports and spreadsheets using Excel and other software
- Basic data entry
- Building positive relationships with our customers
- Having a good attitude and working well with others to maintain a work atmosphere that is enjoyable for all staff
**Responsibilities**
- Assist customers in selecting the appropriate auto parts and accessories based on vehicle specifications and repair needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory control by managing stock levels, ordering parts, and ensuring timely fulfillment of customer orders.
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems to process sales transactions efficiently and accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend suitable parts or solutions.
- Provide technical guidance on automotive repair procedures and automotive service best practices.
- Maintain excellent communication with customers via phone etiquette, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed professionally.
- Support marketing initiatives to promote parts sales and enhance dealership visibility within the community.
- Basic experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office software
- Able to check for grammar
- Collaborating and corresponding with customers and co-workers
- Managing and prioritizing multiple responsibilities while staying organized
**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair, and service procedures.
- Proven experience in inventory management, stock control, and order fulfillment.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with sales management capabilities.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and inventory tracking.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining accurate records.
- Effective communication skills for customer interaction, team collaboration, and vendor negotiations.
