The Faculty is dedicated to maintaining its international reputation for research excellence and innovative academic programming. **Responsibilities**: *Please note, this role is anticipated to be filled by internal reappointment* As a member of the Arts & Humanities Dean's Office, the incumbent will perform duties to support the Faculty with media needs in the equipment sign-out room, and provide technical support for live-streaming and video editing, assisting members of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities in the creation of video documentation, as needed. **Qualifications**: - Education: - 2-year Community College or Undergraduate Degree in a related field - Experience: - 2 years' experience working with media equipment for research and teaching resource Skills, Abilities & Expertise: - Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to document technical information- Ability to develop and follow processes with high attention to detail - Ability to employ a systematic and efficient approach to work - Computer skills with the ability to learn and use software programs - Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite - Intermediate skills in non-linear editing software (i.e. Premiere Pro) - Demonstrated proficiency in video camera operation, sound recording, and lighting. - Demonstrated ability to take initiative, to work independently and follow through on work assignments - Personable and courteous in working relationships with colleagues, students and the public - Multi-tasking skills to prioritize and consistently produce high-quality work within deadlines - Ability to work independently and effectively as a member of the team to achieve department goals - Ability to work flexible hours in order to accommodate the operational requirements of the Faculty **Why Western?**: Consideration of applicants will include an assessment of previous performance, experience, and qualifications.
