Weldco prides itself on providing a great employee experience where safety is a way of life. Weldco-Beales is currently recruiting a** Maintenance Technician **for the **Langley **manufacturing team. This position will report to the **General Foreman Foreman**

What you will do:

- Performs day-to-day repairs and processes
- Follows and completes preventative maintenance schedule
- Collaborates to identify preventative measures to reduce improper use or abuse of machines and equipment
- Resolves problems and recommends effective, practical repair and/or work measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Establishes methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other departments
- Ensures necessary tools are available to employees to complete assigned projects
- Uses all in house computer systems including maintenance logs and the Microsoft Office suite products
- Operate Fork Lifts, jib and overhead cranes
- Perform other duties as required

Your qualifications:

- 5+ years experience in Maintenance work
- High school diploma
- Mechanically inclined
- General knowledge of basic shop tools and equipment
- Crane & Rigging experience or certification
- Forklift Certification
- Red Seal in a Trade considered an asset

- Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others
- Time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent safety record
