**JOB SUMMARY**

Daily work hours: 8:00 am
- 4:30 pm
Position reports to the General Manager.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Maintenance Manager oversees daily operations and maintenance to ensure facility operations run in an effective, reliable, and safe manner. They carry out regular facility inspections and manage the preventative maintenance program, while performing building, yard, or equipment repairs/services.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Carry out regular facility inspections and audits to maintain or improve upon the preventative maintenance program; ensure maximum equipment efficiency and reliability.
- Perform operational, building, yard, paint booth, or equipment repairs/services. This includes machinery, equipment, electrical and mechanical systems.
- Implement and perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, hydraulics, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Maintain the parking lot, yard, and surrounding areas.
- Available to work occasional evenings and/or weekends to complete required maintenance outside of production hours. Responds/assist with any emergency maintenance or security alarms.
- Negotiate, assess, and approve service agreements. Monitor performance of contractors and service personnel for any repairs or installations (if cannot be performed in-house).
- Work with Continuous Improvement Manager in identifying inefficiencies and recommending lean initiatives or improvements.
- Work with the Safety Coordinator and all departments to ensure employees are provided with training on the proper use of any equipment, tools, or machinery.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- +7 years experience in a manufacturing/production facility
- Extensive knowledge and experience with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Experience in building and mechanical equipment maintenance is an asset
- HET or Millwright preferred

- Ability to organize & maintain multiple projects with cross-functional departments
- Extensive knowledge and experience with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Proactivity and a priority on preventative maintenance
- Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with mínimal supervision
- Jack/Jill of all trades
