We are currently hiring a casual community support workers for our community inclusion program at one of our homes in Saanich. the hours of work are typically afternoons (some flexibility possible): We are seeking a support worker to work directly with Dustin. This is what he would like to say about himself: "Hello my name is Dustin Smith, I am 37 years old, and I am in a wheelchair with C.P. I’m a quadriplegic. Community Living Victoria and I are looking for Community Support Workers who are reliable, responsible people who have a great attitude and a good work ethic. Please note **this position requires a Class 4 driver’s license** in order to drive a wheelchair equipped van, we will consider applicants with a Class 5 license, if they are willing to upgrade to a Class 4 License within the first 3 months. Any successful applicants will also have opportunity to work casually across all of CLV's homes and programs **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual Pay: $25.95-$29.76 per hour Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week Additional pay: - Overtime pay **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Flexible schedule - On-site parking - Wellness program Schedule: - Day shift - Evening shift - Night shift - Overtime - Weekends as needed Licence/Certification: - Class 5 Licence (required) Work Location: In person
