OR Bookings Clerk is responsible for managing the surgical scheduling process for multiple physicians, including maintaining waitlists, coordinating bookings, and communicating surgery details to patients. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment.

The OR Bookings Clerk is responsible for:

- Processing surgical consent forms and entering patients onto the surgical waitlist using Novari ATC
- Scanning consent forms and consult notes into Novari and updating related patient charts
- Booking surgeries approximately one month in advance by contacting patients from the waitlist
- Organizing and maintaining both physical and digital waitlists by surgeon and case type
- Managing cancellations and filling vacant surgical spots when possible
- Coordinating travel arrangements for out-of-town patients, including faxing OR bookings to NIHB and nursing stations
- Processing and submitting Ministry of Health paperwork for surgical approvals
- Answering physician and staff messages in PS Suites and providing general support as needed
- Filing completed consent forms and communicating with physicians to resolve scheduling issues

**Required Skills**:

- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Proficient with Outlook, PS Suites, and willing to learn Novari ATC
- Professional and courteous patient and provider interactions

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: From $18.17 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
