**Job Description: Server**:
**Position Title**: Server FULL TIME AND PART TIME

**Location**: The Mash | Mahogany

**Reports To**: Front of House Manager / Restaurant Manager

**About Us**: The Mash | Mahogany is a forward-thinking, sustainable restaurant dedicated to reducing waste and promoting eco-friendly practices. We offer a unique dining experience featuring pizza dough made from upcycled brewers grain, among other innovative dishes. Our mission is to provide delicious, sustainable cuisine while maintaining exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Customer Service**:

- Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
- Present menus and offer detailed descriptions of menu items, highlighting sustainable practices and unique ingredients.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, accommodating special requests and dietary restrictions.
- Deliver orders promptly and ensure guests are satisfied with their meals.
- ** Order Management**:

- Enter orders into the POS system accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food.
- Monitor tables and anticipate guests' needs, refilling drinks and clearing plates as necessary.
- ** Sales and Promotions**:

- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the guest experience.
- Promote the restaurant’s sustainable initiatives and unique selling points.
- Provide information on events, promotions, and loyalty programs.
- ** Cleanliness and Organization**:

- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and resetting tables.
- Adhere to health and safety standards, including proper sanitation and food handling procedures.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
- ** Team Collaboration**:

- Work collaboratively with fellow servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about menu changes and restaurant policies.
- Provide support to other team members during busy shifts.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a Server or in a similar customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Passion for sustainability and knowledge of eco-friendly practices in the restaurant industry.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
