**LANDSCAPER/DRIVER POSITION - Plenty of work perks**
- $19.00-$27.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Paid 30 min. lunch + 2 x 15 min. breaks

**You’ll be**:

- Hardscaping patios/retaining walls/etc. with associated excavation
- Picking up/delivering crew and materials with truck and trailer
- Participating in softscaping as needed
- Representing GILD in a professional and respectful manner at all times to clients, vendors and employees
- Following plans and industry standards
- Moving heavy materials and tools
- Operating power tools and equipment
- Ensuring safety and quality control for all aspects of a project
- Performing related duties, as assigned
- Working approx. 40-50 hrs / week, Monday - Friday
- Operating April - December/end of season (no snow removal)

**Daily POV**:
You head to the yard outside of Spryfield to pick up truck and trailer, and be at the crew pick up point around 7:10. By 7:30am you’re on site prepping a base for a pre-cast patio or wall, grading for sod and prepping beds might be on the list too - get out your green thumb. A few trips to dump debris and pick up soil might be on the to do list. Pitch in to help tidy up the site before wrapping up around 4:30pm, dropping off the crew, and prepping for the next day before leaving the yard around 5pm.

You have a valid drivers license with trailering experience, reliable transportation, are physically fit, enjoy working in the great outdoors, and are motivated to do a good job Your role will involve hands-on physical labour, taking instruction from a supervisor, heavy lifting, handling Nova Scotia’s wild weather, and being a reliable part of the GILD team. Experience is an asset, and excitement for learning is a must have.

- Are able to work until November/December (not a student)

- Are qualified to work in, and are currently living in Canada

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months

Pay: $19.00-$27.00 per hour
