Student (Corporate) - Treasury Intern

The West Fraser is seeking a **Treasury Intern** to join our Treasury team for a 4-month term commencing in January 2025.
**Here's what you will do**:
- Performing vendor callbacks as part of key controls against fraud
- Working with business partners to ensure accurate update of vendor records
- Where possible, help identify opportunities to improve processes currently in place for duties performed
- Other ad hoc treasury-related analysis as required
**You will have**:
- Self-confidence
- Excellent communication skills and comfortable making phone calls
- Detail oriented when researching vendor information
- Represent West Fraser’s values when speaking to vendors.
- In the process of obtaining a Finance, Accounting, Economics or related degree.
**Work Conditions**:
- Office-based
- Potential for occasional on-call duties
- May require some evening and weekend work for system maintenance and updates
**Compensation Package**:
- The salary range for this position may vary depending on experience, education, and location. The annual salary range is between $39,000 to $42,900
