**A Snapshot of Your Day**

Trench Canada Pickering is seeking an individual to support in the development of the Maintenance & Reliability Program consisting Preventative Maintenance plans, spare part inventory management and auditing of the CMMS. You will be part of a dynamic and experienced team of Maintenance individuals who a common goal to improve the reliability of our equipment to optimize OEE.

Your Tasks:

- Assist Reliability Maintenance Teams with preventative maintenance tasks such as PM task steps, spare parts, manuals/drawing organization, etc.
- Learn and understand basic troubleshooting procedures for various equipment which involves shadowing experienced technicians, observing equipment operations, and learning how to identify and diagnose common issues.
- Maintain accurate records on assigned tasks and completed repairs which involves logging completed tasks, recording observations, and updating maintenance documentation.
- Research technical information and safety procedures which involves studying technical manuals, researching online resources, and attending safety training sessions.
- Assist with maintenance inventory organization and management such as organizing tools and supplies, preparing materials for upcoming maintenance tasks, maintaining inventory records as well as identifying critical spare parts and defining suppliers.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols as outlined by the company such as following proper personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines, practicing safe work habits, and reporting any safety concerns.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

**Requirements**:

- Pursuing a college diploma or university degree ideally with a focus on Mechanical Engineering/Technology and/or Inventory Management.
- Strong interest in gaining practical experience in the maintenance field with a focus on mechanical systems, preventative maintenance, and inventory management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and basic CMMS - strong computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as individually.
