**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for residents.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor patients for any changes in condition.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Document patient care activities accurately and report any concerns to nursing staff.
- Support residents with dementia care strategies to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in senior care, hospice care, or caregiving is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility needs of patients.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Certification as a Health Care Aide or equivalent training is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and training as required by the facility.
