Working as part of a collaborative team, the Early Childhood Educator is responsible for creating a positive environment that will enhance children’s emotional, social, creative, physical and intellectual development. The successful applicant will be responsible for looking after all aspects of the care and safety of young children in a developmentally appropriate environment and supports families to ensure a positive experience within the YWCA Child Development Centre.

**POSITION REPORTING**:
Reports to the Director of Early Learning

**HOURS OF WORK**:
This is a casual position, working various shifts between the hours of 7:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1) With a room partner, supervise all aspects of daily activities for an assigned group of children;
2) Support and work collaboratively with Staff

3) Fulfill other responsibilities to contribute to the YWCA Saskatoon team.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Early Childhood Education Level l or Related Training
- Current First-Aid and CPR Certificate;
- Current Criminal Record Check.

**Wage**: As per Collective Bargaining Agreement

This is a **CASUAL POSITION**, working various shifts between the hours of 7:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday.
