**Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Development**: Create and update course materials, lesson plans, and educational resources for teaching English language skills encompassing reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
- **Instruction and Delivery**: Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to students' language proficiency levels, utilizing diverse teaching methods and materials to enhance learning experiences.
- **Language Skills Development**:Focus on developing grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, comprehension, and fluency in English through various exercises, activities, and discussions.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:Design and administer assessments, quizzes, and examinations to evaluate students' language proficiency, providing constructive feedback and progress reports.
- **Individualized Support**:Offer personalized guidance, tutoring, and additional support to students who require assistance in specific areas of language learning.
- **Cultural Context Integration**:Incorporate cultural nuances, idiomatic expressions, and socio-cultural elements into language instruction to provide a well-rounded learning experience.
- **Technological Integration**:Utilize educational technology, online resources, and multimedia tools to supplement traditional teaching methods and enhance engagement.
- **Collaboration and Professional Development**: Collaborate with fellow instructors, attend workshops, and engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated with effective teaching methodologies and trends in language instruction.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field. Master’s degree or TESOL/TEFL certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience teaching ESL or EFL to students of diverse backgrounds.
- Strong knowledge of English grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and language teaching methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and online learning platforms.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Patient, approachable, and culturally sensitive.
- Enthusiastic about teaching and committed to student success.
- Adaptable and open to feedback.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience teaching ESL in a variety of settings (e.g., schools, language institutes, online).
- Familiarity with language assessment tools and techniques.
- Experience with curriculum development and instructional design.
- Knowledge of a second language.

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
