Shift Details
- 2 part-time days (7:30am - 3:00pm) 30 hours bi-weekly
- Casual (picking up shifts as they become available)

**Shift details for our new Food Services team member**:
Our Village** at University Gates **has an exciting opportunity for a Food Services team member to join our team working approximately 21 hours bi-weekly from 11 - 7:00pm, Thursday, Friday and Saturday with the opportunity for overtime and additional shifts elsewhere in the village. For informational purposes only the initial location is the Ruby.

**As a new Food Services team member joining our Village, you will**:
Support and embrace our resident-centered social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of customer service to our residents. You will assist in serving meals and beverages to our residents ensuring we meet residents’ diets and food preferences while following safe and sanitary food handling techniques.

Food Services Team Members at Schlegel Villages assist with the preparation of catering functions and events, and in maintaining and clean dining room and workspace.

**To be successful as our new Food Services Team Member, you will**:

- Hold a Smart Serve Certificate
- Be excited by our objectives, our Village philosophy and the family values that shape all aspects of life in a Schlegel Village
- Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members

**It would be an asset if our new Food Services Team Member had**:

- A valid Food Handlers certification
