The Server Assistant and Host roles are integral parts of the Front-of-House team and require a hardworking individual that takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to work with a team and take direction well from your colleagues. This is a great opportunity to work with a team of professionals eager to establish Poplar Grove as an industry-leading culinary destination.

Server Assistant (SA) duties include:

- Assisting Servers, Bartenders, and Managers on the floor during service.
- Keeping the workplace tidy.
- Learning the fundamentals of hospitality.

Host duties include:

- Answering phones and taking reservations.
- Becoming adept at using ‘Tock’, our reservation system.
- Keeping the workplace tidy.
- Greet and seat guests, take reservations, and manage the flow of guests at the entrance
- Communicating with Managers and Servers

Additional information:

- Seasonal from early-May to September 1
- 2 to 5-day work week
- 4 to 8-hour shifts
- Salary: $16.75 per hour plus gratuities
- Opportunity to progress into Expeditor role and Server role

**Requirements**:

- Server Assistant or restaurant experience a bonus
- Serving It Right
- Eager to learn

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $16.75-$17.25 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 35 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Night shift
