Reporting to the Kentville Branch Manager, the Electrical Outside Salesperson will be responsible for selling our corporate products and meeting opportunity-based sales quotas. You'll achieve your business goals by efficiently managing assigned territories and making regular visits to customer sites.

**What you’ll do**:

- Be responsible for leading electrical sales for your region with the support of an experienced inside sales team.
- Cultivate lasting, profitable relationships with customers while upholding the company's professional reputation.
- Meet quarterly with the Corporate Sales Manager to review the scorecard and deliverables.
- Travel throughout your assigned territory managing accounts/ the territory.
- Opportunity qualification, pre-visit planning, and call control.
- Manage your own schedule and time.

**Qualifications and key competencies**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an electrical or related field.
- Ideally, you have a minimum of 5 years of direct work experience in an external electrical sales capacity.
- A bonus competency would be instrumentation experience.
- Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas.
- You have achieved success in qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision-makers.
- Deep understanding and knowledge of wholesale sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.

Annual base salary will be commensurate with your experience.
