**Domestic Aide - Part-Time Position**

Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor and ultimately the Manager, this position is responsible for providing a safe and sanitary environment in accordance with legislative requirements, the organization standards, policies and procedures and health and safety requirements. Must display professionalism in the ability to organize housekeeping duties on a daily basis... Must demonstrate good communication skills, and be pleasant and sincere with residents and staff. Must be highly organized and have an excellent understanding of infection control practices.

Performs all duties in a clean and sanitary manner in accordance with cleaning schedules. Assists with dining services as required. Performs other duties and functions, as requested. Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 10 or equivalent.
- Knowledge to be able to understand the proper food handling and WHIS procedures.
- Working knowledge of chemicals used for cleaning an asset
- Ability to understand and follow-out orders
- Ability to work accurately and quickly.
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
- Good Physical and Mental Health.
- Received at least two (2) doses of a Health Canada approved Covid-19 vaccine.
