**Team Leader Job Summary**

**Job description**

**Primary responsibilities**:

- Supervise all processing operations for production lines
- Routinely monitor ingredient inventory and implement the first-in, first-out (FIFO) principle
- Complete the inspection of the finished product to make sure it meets the requirements for size, weight and appearance.
- Supervise the packaging of products and ensure proper seals
- Ensure the cleanliness of the line and surrounding areas
- Ensure all Quality processes and procedures (including GMP, HACCP) are fully complied with.
- Maintain process on a day-to-day basis to achieve set targets and yield rates at minimum cost.
- Shall be capable of working in other positions and maintain the speeds of the line as set by the documented standards.
- Complete all checklists and production records correctly in a timely manner
- Attend production meetings
- Document the applicable records on-time
- Notify the HACCP Coordinator of any deviations
- Other duties as assigned

**Basic requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year of work experience in food manufacturing, preferably in meat production
- Minimum 3 years experience in a leadership role
- Must be able to communicate (written & verbal) in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of HACCP
- Must be receptive to sudden and frequent changes in priorities
- Must be able to work in a cold environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
