Product Specialist Gutter Connected Greenhouse

**Overview**
Since 1958 Paul Boers Ltd. has been providing greenhouse systems across North America. Our mission at Paul Boers Ltd. is to provide our customers with superior quality greenhouse structures and systems at a competitive price and unmatched service.

We are looking for a Gutter Connect specialist. This position will support the sales team with estimates, drawings, designs and product listings.

**Responsibilities**
- Create project specific bills of material listing all parts required to manufacture, purchase and ship in full and on time.
- Prepare project specific installation instructions.
- Prepare engineer stamped drawing packages.
- Create new and maintain existing manufacturing drawings.
- Create part numbers as needed and maintain existing BOM’s.
- Assist production in addressing quality and production issues.
- Prepare quotations for structures and benches in a timely manner, working closely with sales to understand requirements.
- Review, complete, and store all incoming quote requests.
- Create proposal drawings required for pre-sales purposes.
- Update and maintain calculation and quote templates.
- Review current structure and parts designs to suggest and implement changes.
- Standardize and organize all drawings.
- Gain efficiencies in current use of templates, ERP and CAD software in an effort to significantly reduce processing times.
- Develop the continuous improvement capabilities of the organization on Lean principles and practices.
- Assist with improvements in manufacturing practices as needed.

**Skills**
- Technical aptitude to read/interpret engineering drawings, understand manufacturing processes.
- Professional demeanour and able to respond to customers and colleagues in a timely manner.
- Can set and meet deadlines.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Able to solve problems and rectify issues.
- Pairing theoretical knowledge with a practical mindset

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
