**Mathematics Teacher**

**Job Summary**:
Lougheed Academy is seeking a qualified and available Math & Science Teacher who can teach secondary school students according to BC curriculums.

**Qualifications**:

- Must be knowledgable in math & science
- At least one years of teaching experience in the classroom.
- Must be able to work well with students and co-workers.
- Must have a positive attitude and good communication skills.
- Speaking Korean will be considered as one of the best qualifications.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Instruct students in the basic or advanced skills necessary for their school work.
- Help students by interacting with them in a friendly manner.
- Assist in the completion of daily assignments and lesson planning.
- Complete other duties assigned by the classroom management team or the classroom coordinator (if applicable).

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 4 per week

**Salary**: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Burnaby, BC V3J 7N3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- teaching: 1 year (preferred)
