Job Description
Reporting to the Business Centre Manager, the Inside Salesperson sells products, processes customer orders, provides pricing and/or technical information, and finds solutions to customer problems in a timely manner.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Your sales focus will be on the Renewable Energy sector - Solar PV and EV charging.
- Promoting and establishing Guillevin as a major distributor of Renewable Energy products with all industry sectors
- Providing technical support to solar installers at our Edmonton South Business Centre
- Assist in designing grid tied and off grid projects
- Proactively specify products as per stock availability
- Generate quotations and solicit existing customer base
- Provide sound project management and order service for booked projects
- Provide sales support to assigned customers and be highly pro-active in servicing them
- From time to time provide feedback gathered from installers on procurement and product mapping based on evolving market
- Attend technical webinars from our manufacturers to keep your knowledge up to date
- Assist solar installers by processing purchase orders and providing order status updates
- Communicate effectively with outside sales of any existing or potential problems arising with the installers
- Work closely with Outside Sales and Warehouse teams to provide seamless customer service
- Maintain detailed, up-to-date records in SAP CRM database
- Drive new installer leads by supporting Sales and Marketing teams at tradeshows and events.
- Assist in building a high performing inside sales process
- Any other duties as required from time to time
- At all times act in an ethical & professional manner that reflects the values of our organization
Skills and Experience
- Ability to build rapport with customers & provide high levels of customer service;
- Competent in database management and online IT platforms;
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment;
- Good organization and communication skills;
- Experience within the industry is a plus, however not essential.
- Be friendly, responsive and accurate in all communication
- within and outside the organization
**Requirements**:
- Post-secondary degree or equivalent work experience
- Interest in renewable energy technology
Considered an Asset
- Degree in engineering or technology-based field
- Demonstrated experience or aptitude for sales in a technical capacity
- Knowledge in renewable or electrical products
- Experience in sales
