Stores Inventory Clerk

**Purpose of the Position**:
Rotational Inventory Clerk, servicing all North Star Air bases. Work shift is 12 hours, 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. Travel to Thompson Manitoba, Sioux Lookout Ontario, Pickle Lake Ontario, Red Lake Ontario, Kapuskasing Ontario and Thunder Bay, Ontario. Your rotational shift is fully covered for meals and housing when away from home base, locations will be vary from shift to shift depending on needs of the Bases listed.

**Primary Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Performing receiving of aircraft parts using electronic inventory system
- Carrying out shipping of aircraft parts
- Carrying out Dangerous Goods Shipping as required
- Assisting Maintenance, Inventory Control and Planning by picking and issuing aircraft parts
- Returning any unused parts to inventory
- Managing the shipping of Company Material (COMAT) to/from all outstations as well as the aircraft tool control
- Loading/Off-loading of freight from various means of transportation
- Handling AOG requirements after hours and weekends, including creating purchase orders and arranging the logistics of the required aircraft parts
- Arranging all local pick-ups/drop-offs using courier or other approved methods
- Warehousing skids and crates using forklift and hangar racks
- Actively participating in (SMS) including, reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy
- Other Duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Working experience in Shipping and Receiving role preferred
- Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting
- Basic mathematical skills
- Valid driver's license minimum level G2 or G with a clean driver's abstract record
- Ability to weigh and measure items
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
- Computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to lift minimum of 50lbs
- Attention to detail in all areas of work
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
- Dependability (must have a clear attendance record and reliable on-time reporting)
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Able to obtain a Transport Canada Airport Restricted Area Pass
- Must be available to work 12 hour rotating shifts including days, overnights, weekends, and holidays - *This is a 24/7 operation
- High school diploma or equivalent is required - aviation experience is an asset
- Ability to communicate and correspond clearly and precisely in English

**Salary**: $21.00-$24.75 per hour
