Come join our Team, and learn first-hand how you can contribute to our “Innovation Inside” Mitchell Plastics provides... - Bonus eligibility - RRSP matching - Medical, dental, vision plans - Paid time off and paid holidays - Life Insurance and LTD - Employee assistance program - Development and training plans - Tuition reimbursement **The Role**: - Confirm the accurate processing of employee payroll and ensure all changes to the payroll are processed correctly - Maintain Dayforce attendance and vacation tracking systems - Reconcile payroll deductions such as statutory deductions, pension, all 3rd party deductions, request ROE’s etc - Act as Company liaison to Revenue Canada, and all required government and third-party agencies, relating to payment of deductions and premiums - Prepare payroll related tax reports and ensure that tax payments are made in a timely manner - Administer RRSP program including employee enrollments and changes and work with HR Generalist, Corporate Benefits for plan changes, notifications, and employee questions - Verify completed payroll and review reports for accuracy and completeness before distribution - Assist Corporate Human Resources projects as needed - Has a minimum of five years’ experience processing payroll for 500+ employees in a manufacturing environment - Has a Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation - Has experience with Dayforce as an HRIS and payroll system - Working knowledge of payroll / tax compliance and employment standards legislation - Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with people at various levels of the organization - Has advanced Excel skills - Had the ability to deal with confidential information with a high degree of diplomacy - Has a professional attitude with a customer service focus - Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail - Is a strong team player - Able to handle stress situations due to tight timelines
