Health & Safety Coordinator

Reporting to the National Director -Health & Safety, the Health & Safety Coordinator is responsible for helping to ensure the success of the Health & Safety team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Be the expert and super-user for our OH&S Claims Management system (Parklane);
- support our location managers and OH&S professionals with health and safety as well as technical guidance and information;
maintain claims records and produce standard management reports;
- Input and submit Injury/Accident reports to applicable provincial Workers Compensation Boards as required;
- Provide general support to location management and Health & Safety department, including:

- Managing and posting information to company Intranet and monitoring posted information;
- Tracking and maintaining all educational/training records in the HRIS system as well as health and safety authority compliance information.
- Providing administration support to Regional Managers of Health and Safety;
- Maintaining a schedule of upcoming Appeal/Tribunal Hearings.

**Other Qualifications**
- Experience in Occupational Health & Safety and/or Workers' Compensation systems is required
- Education or Certification in Occupational Health and Safety, Workers Compensation, CHRP designation, or in progress is an asset
- Knowledge of Parklane software an asset
- Good computer skills
- Ability to travel in local areas
