Mamakas Taverna is currently seeking a skilled host for a part time position.

As the initial guest contact, the host is expected to embody the hospitality, charm and professionalism of our organization. Duties include answering phones, managing reservations, greeting & seating guests and maintaining the flow of service throughout the patios and dining room.

**Requirements**:

- Must be available for 2-3 shifts per week
- Availability must include a combination of evenings and weekend daytime (lunch shifts), weekends will be required
- 2 years previous work experience in a similar restaurant setting required
- Experience in managing reservations
- Demonstrable customer service skills
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Experience with Open Table an asset
- Experience in an administrative role considered an asset
