When our sunny seasonal patio opens, our cozy 85-seat restaurant transforms into a lively 150-seat destination right in the heart of Toronto’s buzzing Ossington strip. Mamakas Taverna brings a modern twist to traditional Aegean cuisine. We’re inspired by timeless Greek traditions — daily market runs, perfectly ripe tomatoes, fresh _paithakia_ from the butcher, and the morning catch from the fishmonger.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Available to work evenings from Friday to Sunday, with additional availability on select weeknights and/or weekend afternoons.
- 2+ years previous experience as a host in a fast-paced, casual fine dining environment (or equivalent) preferred
- Experience with OpenTable an asset
- Ability to stay calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Strong administrative + time management skills, attention to detail, and a positive, team-focused attitude

**As a Host or Hostess, You Will Be**:

- Confirming and managing reservations
- Coordinating the flow of service by organizing seating arrangements and controlling the pace of the evening
- Greeting and seating guests, as well as assisting with bussing tables as needed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
