We are a small, family owned dental clinic looking for a responsible, bilingual dental secretary to join our team

Please note, this is a part time job for FRIDAYS only from 7:45AM-1:15 PM

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using the electronic medical records system
- Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with billing inquiries
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient office operations
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and address any concerns or questions they may have

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting is preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and phone systems
- Proficiency in using software such as Exceldent is a plus
- Strong administrative skills, including organization and attention to detail
- Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial for effective communication with patients and dental staff
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $28.00-$31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 per week
