We are looking for a skilled and motivated **Facility Maintenance Technician** to support our production and quality control operations by ensuring that all manufacturing equipment and systems run efficiently and safely.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Will be responsible for initial troubleshooting, fixing mechanical and electrical problems, setting up of facility equipment in an efficient manner.
- Diagnose malfunctions and perform mechanical or electrical adjustments and repairs as needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance, set-ups, and equipment calibrations according to the maintenance schedule.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any potential issues.
- Train operators and production staff on proper equipment handling, safety, and maintenance practices.
- Participate in training and perform maintenance tasks within cleanroom environments in compliance with GMP standards.
- Coordinate with external contractors and internal teams to ensure timely and effective completion of maintenance and repair tasks.
- Recommend and implement **continuous improvement initiatives** to enhance equipment reliability, safety, and process efficiency.
- Support troubleshooting and repair activities involving **Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)** and automation systems.

**Qualifications**
- Grade 12 diploma; post-secondary education in a technical or mechanical field and/or **Industrial Millwright certification** preferred.
- Minimum **3 years of experience** in a production or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment (GMP experience is a strong asset).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience troubleshooting mechanical and PLC-controlled systems.
- Knowledge of **Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)** and **Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)**.
- Understanding of **Lean** and **Six Sigma** principles is an asset.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work across all shifts as required.

Pay: $17.68-$25.19 per hour
