We are presently looking for a **Heavy Equipment Operator - GPS Bulldozer** for full-time work for the areas of Peel and Halton Regions (predominately).

**Job Summary (not limited to)**:

- Safely operate a late model GPS Bulldozer
- Fine grade works for both bulk earthworks and road projects
- Rough grade and bulk excavation work for both bulk earthwork and road projects
- Work in a safe and efficient manner, promoting our Health and Safety Program
- Daily safety checks will be a requirement
- Current/Valid safety training is a plus

**Anticipated Hours**:

- Weekly Mon-Fri 7:30am - 5:30pm (or similar)
- 2 x 15 minute breaks daily (paid)
- 30 minute lunch period (unpaid)
- Saturdays/weekends only as required w/ premium time paid

**Compensation Package**:

- Hourly wage per Local 793 Collective Agreement
- Premium time weekends

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5+ years of operating experience
- Bulldozer proficiency is preferred to other equipment
- GPS experience (Topcon or other) is preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $42.00-$46.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- operating: 5 years (preferred)
- Bulldozing: 1 year (preferred)
