Composite 2D layers and assets using Harmony, ensuring all elements such as characters, backgrounds, props, and effects are seamlessly integrated according to the project's artistic vision and technical requirements.
- Refine and adjust composited scenes to ensure visual consistency, clarity, and quality, adhering to the style guide and project standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve compositing issues such as:

- correct layering order
- color correction
- line weight thickness
- lighting scenarios such as tonal and cast shadows as well as rim lights
- visual effects
- You will provide effective solutions and best practices to the team.
- Handle sequences of varying complexity, from simple to moderately difficult.
- Collaborate with leadership, production, and team members to solve technical challenges and maintain consistency across scenes.
- Engage in dailies, rounds, and team discussions, contributing to creative and technical improvements.
- Adhere to pipeline workflows and technical requirements for seamless integration into the production process.
- Maintain consistency in quality while meeting production needs.
- Manage time effectively, working with production to stay on schedule.
- Keep the team and production staff informed about progress, challenges, and solutions.

**Requirements**:

- Previous production experience as a 2D Comp Artist or similar role in animation.
- A portfolio that demonstrates
- Extensive experience using ToonBoom Harmony for Compositing.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve compositing issues (see above).
- Keen eye for visual consistency, clarity, and quality to ensure that composited scenes align with the artistic vision and project standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively promote solutions, share knowledge, and incorporate feedback.

**Benefits**

**Pay Range**: CAD $ 1300 - 1500 $ per week

This salary range reflects our current expectations for these roles as of this posting’s date. Your final salary offer will consider various key factors, including your education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographical location, as well as the needs and requirements of the business.
