Varsity Communities is changing the Canadian student housing landscape by providing students with access to the best community living experience with the highest quality suites and the finest services.

We are looking for a Resident Concierge to join our team in Kingston, ON. The Resident Concierge will be the main point of contact for our current residents, and the first point of contact for residents and prospective residents as they enter and exit the building. This role will require an applicant who is positive, friendly, and enthusiastic to help us reach our goal of giving our residents the best possible experience

**A Day in the Life**:

- Acting as the first point of contact for any community member or resident - requiring consistent adaptability from day to day.
- Answering any general inquiries from current or prospective residents.
- Assisting residents with any work orders, or work order inquiries.
- Coordinating with the Property Services team to assist with resident communication.
- Planning and executing resident events
- Maintaining a strong social media presence at the property level; promoting events, creating blog posts, and maintaining engagement with our current residents.
- Ensuring that any issues or complaints from residents are handled in a suitable manor.
- Assist with the monthly Accounts Receivable
- Coordinating with the leasing team to assist as necessary with leasing efforts of the buildings to ensure that 100% occupancy is reached.
- Assisting the leasing team with communication efforts for lease renewals.
- Answering any incoming phone calls and ensuring that inquiries are appropriately sent to the correct team member.
- Assisting with the coordination of outside vendors, as required.
- Conducting suite tours for prospective residents as scheduled and required.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy front desk area
- You must be a pleasant, enthusiastic individual who provides outstanding customer service, communication and organization skills.
- Be kind, cool, and collected at all times.

**Skills and Requirements**:

- Experience with customer facing positions, hosting positions, hospitality roles, or administrative assistant roles.
- A degree or diploma in business, hospitality or marketing related field is considered to be an asset.
- Any experience working with property management associations is considered to be an asset.
- Highly skilled on various computer programs to organize business information.
- Highly adaptable to the wide array of requests that may come through this position.
- Flexible, self-motivated, with an ability to make quick and informed decisions.
- Must be a strong-willed, persistent individual who can listen and effectively respond to resident concerns.
- Ability to work independently or in teams in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent time-management, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency with various MS office programs such as excel, word, and outlook.
- Punctual and dependable with a can-do attitude.
- A valid Police Criminal Record Check will be required upon hire.
