Directly accountable to the Manager of Maintenance, the Maintenance Worker ensures facility management responsibilities are appropriately managed within the Southeast Personal Care Home. The incumbent ensures that maintenance requirements within the facility are appropriately identified and work is completed as required to maintain the environment needed for the ongoing delivery of resident services.
The Plant Maintenance Worker is responsible for but not limited to: preventative and corrective maintenance, repair and cleaning of electrical /mechanical, equipment and building systems that provide light, heat, power, water, air conditioning and other services for the facilities; maintaining accurate documentation; maintaining stock control; maintaining a clean and safe grounds environment including snow removal and lawn care; and performing other related duties as required.
**Education**
- Formal training in troubleshooting/repairing pneumatic and digital building control systems.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week
**Salary**: $18.00-$24.84 per hour
