Maintenance Worker

In the position you will be supporting the chief engineer in the overall Maintenance of the Building, grounds and operation of its equipment and Mechanical/electrical systems.
Full-time applicants are preferred. Part-time shifts are available for applicants with proven experience and skills.
**Responsibilities**:
- Basic repair work, including painting, wallcovering, plumbing, electrical work, pool operations and preventative Maintenance.
- Work within a preventative Maintenance Schedule recorded on line as required by our hotel brand.
- Work with a goal of total guest satisfaction every time.
**Requirements**:
- Mechanical experience in a hotel or related field. Demonstrated general mechanical skills.
- Problem solving, identify and resolve problems in a timely matter.
- Project Management: Assists chief Engineer in ensuring routine Preventative Maintenance on all capital equipment.
- Customer service. Ability to serve Hotel guest directly as needed for any issues that be arise.
- Team Work. Great team player able to work effectively with the Chief Engineer, front desk, housekeeping, and fellow Maintenance co-workers.
- Understanding of safety, security, and emergency procedures.
- Able to lift and move 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer skills required.
